After, them deceiving him, losing his job, and experiencing the demons that drive him, Joel becomes disillusioned. During his troubles, Starry, a former lover, confronts him with her new found philosophy, driving Joel to question his perceptions of life.
With Joel’s life in shambles, he sees the world heading in the same direction. Israel announces it is about to build the Third Temple and the surrounding Muslim countries threaten war. The world’s currencies do not have a common exchange rate and nations are being pressured by the New European Union to enter their International Integration Digital Currency. In the States, the movement MIFFID: Majority In Favor of Freedom In Democracy, spread hate under the guise of the Statute of Personal Moral Rights. The Supreme Court interpreted the 1st Amendment’s clause stating the government could not be preferential in respecting an establishment of religion. It concluded that if the government ascribed to or supported a moral stance it then becomes an advocate for a religious conviction. Consequently, the law mandated protection for individuals to choose their morality without consequences. That law took away the right to publicly express your religious beliefs because it infringed upon the morality of others.
